Overview of TIOSL Smart Control System

System Introduction

TIOSL smart control system uses qualified Bluetooth mesh wireless networking standard which expands the capabilities of the Bluetooth radio communication by introducing a new type of network topology. TIOSL smart control system sensors are installed in and powered by each lighting fixture in each control floor. Each sensor possesses light, motion-sensing for occupancy sensing. TIOSL smart control system’s robust Bluetooth mesh network can scale to even some of the largest buildings in the world.

System Functions

1. Multi-device Control: Users can use mobile APP, computer and other terminal devices to control the power, brightness adjustment and other functions of lighting fixtures in real time.

2. Scene Setting: According to different needs, users can set different lighting scenes, such as warm, bright, romantic, etc., to meet various requirements.

3. Timing: Users can set a timing to turn on and off the lighting fixtures to achieve automatic control.

4. Geo-positioning: Automatically adjust the brightness of lighting fixtures according to the user's geographical location to achieve intelligent management.

5. Energy-saving and Eco-friendly: Use high-efficiency, low-energy lighting fixture to reduce power consumption.

6. Smart Control Platform: Equipped with a smart control cloud platform, you can log in by scanning the QR code and control in real time.


System Components

1. Multi-device Control: Users can use mobile APP, computer and other terminal devices to control the power, brightness adjustment and other functions of lighting fixtures in real time.

2. Sensor: Monitor environmental changes in real time, such as light and temperature, to provide decision-making basis for the controller.

3. Lighting devices: Including LED lamps, fluorescent lamps, etc., which realize lighting functions according to the controller instructions.

4. Communication Module: Responsible for data transmission between the controller and the user terminal device.

5. System Working Principle: The user sends instructions through the terminal device. After the Bluetooth module receives the instructions, it adjusts the lighting fixtures according to the environmental sensor data and preset parameters. At the same time, the controller will feedback the operating status to the user terminal device to achieve real-time monitoring.



Capacity Limits

1. One zone can have 100 devices max, suggest no more than 60 devices per area to avoid signal weak or offline.

2. Wireless signal transmission, such as concrete walls or large metal objects, and the size does not out of reach the limit of wireless coverage (better with radius less than 50 meter and area less than 1000 square meters).  

3. If a gateway device is used in a zone, the maximum quantity of devices cannot exceed 60.

4. A lamp can set up to 8 scenes and can be added to up to 8 groups.

5. Only one gateway can be added to one zone.

6. The maximum number of scheduled tasks is 8.
